Week 3 of the NFL Preseason continued yesterday, and 10 former Wolfpack players represented NC State at the next level.
Steelers 16 Titans 6
Running Back Jaylen Samuels (Rookie) led the Steelers in rushing, picking up 11 carries for 41 yards. He also snagged 4 receptions for 36 yards.
He also had this touchdown reception called back due to holding.
You have to think his performance last night solidified his roster spot.
Colts 23 49ers 17
Quarterback Jacoby Brissett (3rd Season) was 7 0f 13 for 120 yards, with no touchdowns, and no interceptions.
Running Back Nyheim Hines’ (Rookie) dismal preseason continued yesterday. He lost his punt returning job, and rushed the ball 5 times for 0 yards, and caught 1 pass for -1 yards. He did return 1 kickoff for 21 yards.
Defensive End Kentavius Street (Rookie) didn’t play for the 49ers. He is still recovering from tearing his ACL during predraft workouts.
Jaguars 17 Falcons 6
Offensive Linemen Will Richardson (Rookie) and Tony Adams (Rookie) both didn’t play for the Jaguars yesterday.
Bears 27 Chiefs 20
Cornerback David Amerson (6th Season) go his first start of the preseason, but it wasn’t pretty. He didn’t record any stats, but he did get beat on numerous occasions. Chiefs fans aren’t happy.
Ravens 27 Dolphins 10
Cornerback Johnathan Alston (Rookie) played as a reserve for the Dolphins, but didn’t record any stats.
Center Ted Larsen (9th Season) played as a reserve, as a member of the 2nd team offensive line for the Dolphins.
Saints 36 Chargers 7
Quarterback Philip Rivers (15th season) was 5 of 7 for 29 yards.
