• Good to get Trent and Person in the game (at RB) and let them feel college football
• Having an NFL caliber QB is big. Ryan is so calm and cool. So level-headed and it’s comforting. Under control with everything.
• Not grading his team on a curve because of the heat or JMU’s play. Going to go over game tomorrow, but tonight going to be happy because team is 1-0.
• Red zone defense was huge. Got down there 5 times, scored once. To get down there and bow up after long drives, find a way to win. Says a lot about our team’s mental makeup. Great to see them finish.
• Ryan on 3rd down was huge. Managed offense well. Definitely a few throws he’ll wish he had back. Missed a few open targets, but was good.
