Explanation Of Why NC State vs. ECU is Noon Kickoff

NC State announced yesterday that they have secured a 12th game on December 1st at Noon versus ECU at home.

Yes, another kickoff before 1pm.

The desire was to have a mid afternoon kickoff, but that wasn’t available because there is a concert in PNC Arena that night, and they share a parking lot with Carter-Finley Stadium.

Also, Friday night was not an option because the Carolina Hurricanes have a home game that night.

Friday night was not an option … Canes at home Friday night, a concert at PNC Saturday night. Was best window for us to get a 12th game in.

I know it might feel like NC State is getting stuck with all of the Noon kickoffs, but that’s actually not the case.

While the Wolfpack is getting shafted with the least amount of prime time games in the ACC, they have been extremely successful as of late at the Noon slot, winning 9 straight games before 1pm
