NC State just caught a huge break.

Boston College superstar running back AJ Dillon has officially been ruled out of today’s game vs. the Wolfpack.

Dillon is the Preseason ACC Player of the Year, and currently ranks 3rd in the NCAA in rushing yards with 652. Last year, as a freshman, Dillon carried the ball 36 times for 196 yards and 1 touchdown against NC State.

With Dillon out, the Golden Eagles will look to Junior Ben Glines, who was impressive in the 2nd half against Temple last Saturday when Dillon went down. Glines ended up with 23 carries for 120 yards and a touchdown.

NC State already entered as the favorite over BC, but with Dillon out, the odds of the Wolfpack starting the 2018 season 5-0 just dramatically increased.
