Person, McCloud & Witt Expected Back for NC State vs. FSU

According to Joe Giglio of the News & Observer’s, Freshman running back Ricky Person, Redshirt Sophomore Right Tackle Justin Witt and Junior Cornerback Nick McCloud are expected to be back for NC State today against Florida State.

RB Ricky Person, RT Justin Witt and CB Nick McCloud are all expected to play for NC State against FSU today. All three missed last week’s loss at Syracuse with injuries

This is huge news for the Pack.

Person adds a different dimension and gear to the NC State offense. He leads the team in explosive plays with 12, and he has only played in 4 of the Wolfpack’s 7 games. Kelvin Harmon is second with 11, and has played in all 7 games.

The absence of Witt last week was felt. Tyrone Riley is still new to the offensive line, and gave up a key pressure on Finley that led to an interception.

McCloud is the veteran amongst the cornerbacks, and he was replaced by Freshman Teshaun Smith, who played his first snaps last week. His inexperience showed at the end of the contest with 2 pass interference calls on third down.
