4-Star 2019 G Dereon Seabron Includes NC State in His Final-5

Published

on

4-Star 2019 Combo Guard Dereon Seabron (6’6″/180) revealed his Final 5 schools yesterday, and NC State was one of them, alongside Pitt, Georgia, VCU, and Providence.

247Sports ranks Seabron as the #107 overall player nationally in the 2019 recruiting class, and the #6 player in the state of Virginia.

NC State is the only team in his Final 5 that hasn’t officially offered him yet (Pitt just offered last week), which could change in the very near future.

Seabron led Lake Taylor High School (Norfolk, VA) to a state championship as a Senior last year, earning Class 4 State Player of the Year honors (22.5 points and 11 boards per game). Instead of going to one of the smaller colleges that had offered him this season, he decided to prep one season at Massanutten Military Academy (Woodstock, VA) to pick up some Power 5 offers.

He has already taken all 5 of his official visits to North Texas, VCU, Minnesota, ECU, and Providence.

Don’t forget, Wolfpack head coach Kevin Keatts roots run deep in Virginia.

Matthew is Publisher and Co-Owner of Pack Insider. He is also the Lead Pastor of The Point Church in Cary, NC.
