Johnson eventually returned to the bench, but never to the court. Despite the fact that head coach Kevin Keatts didn’t have an update on Johnson after the game, Johnson was confident that he would be ready to play tomorrow night against Wake Forest on the road.
UPDATE: No injury specifics, but spoke to Markell Johnson after the game and the @PackMensBball guard says he’s fine and will be good to go at Wake Forest on Tuesday @kells_2017 @Sports_Night

Obviously, whether or not Markell plays isn’t up to Markell, rather that decision lies in the hands of Keatts and the training staff. Regardless, this is good news no matter how you read it, because the fall looked like the injury could have been much worse.
