NC State’s Chris Ingram Earns Week 4 ACC Defensive Back of the Week

The ACC has announced their Week 4 Players of the Week, and NC State’s Junior Cornerback Chris Ingram earned Defensive Back of the Week honors.

DEFENSIVE BACK – Chris Ingram, NC State, Jr., CB, Salisbury, N.C.
Ingram played a career-high 89 snaps in the Wolfpack’s 34-23 win over Ball State • Helped hold the Cardinals to just three explosive plays on offense (10 yards or more running/20 yards or more passing) • Registered a career-best nine stops, all on solo hits • Ingram picked off a pass in the end zone to seal the win and broke up two other passes. The interception was Ingram’s 2nd of the season, which leads the Wolfpack, and ranks 2nd in the ACC. His 24 tackles rank 2nd on the team, which is a really impressive total for a cornerback.
