Keatts Unsure if Greg Gantt Will Suit up for NC State This Season
Keatts met with media Friday afternoon, prior to the team heading to New York to face Purdue. Eventually the conversation turned to their injury report. While it seems there’s a shot that Morsell returns next game, the same optimism wasn’t there for Gantt.
With a strong emphasis on “if”, the timeline points to a mid-January return for Gantt. Keatts made it known that it he may not return at all.
Gantt has been at team practices, but has yet to be involved in any contact drills. Endurance, strength and simply playing at game speed, are all working against the recent transfer. We’ll keep an eye on the situation, but for now, assume we see Gantt next year.
