NC State Offers 4-Star 7-Foot Center Peyton Marshall

Published

on

4-Star 2024 Center Peyton Marshall (7’0″/310) had a good conversation with NC State Head Coach Kevin Keatts on Sunday, and by the end of it, he’d received an offer from NC State.

Marshall is a consensus 4-star prospect, and 247Sports ranks him as the #46 overall player nationally in the 2024 recruiting class, the #6 Center, and the #4 player in the state of Georgia.

Some call him the “Shaq” of High School Basketball. Imagine Marshall coming in right after D.J. Burns leaves?

Marshall is a former Auburn commit, but recently decommitted after some changes within the staff.

So did the PI staff take vacation? Are they too shocked at Miranda leaving to even comment? It has been over a week since any news was posted.

Had a good conversation” is an odd phrase. Normally you hear ‘after visiting‘.

You’d love to have an even taller ‘unstoppable force’ but it’s a long road from ‘being offered’ to actually putting on the jersey. Not going to get excited about this guy for another year, if he even does sign with us.

Don’t worry, he will not be coming to State. I am surprised that Burns came back.

I’m not worried about his weight. He will get in shape under KK. Has anyone noticed the pics of Burns from the beginning of last year to now.?

Could NC State Flip a UVA WR Commit in the Near Future?

Published

on

NC State beat UVA in Charlottesville this past weekend, and they might just flip a 2024 UVA verbal commit in the near future.

3-Star Wide Receiver Christian Zachary (6’3″/190) will be taking an Official Visit to NC State this weekend, starting Friday, when the Wolfpack hosts Louisville.

Zachary verbally committed to Virginia back on June 6th. With that being said, NC State recruiting analysts for 247Sports and ON3 both predict that Zachary will flip his commitment from the Cavaliers to the Wolfpack.

UVA and NC State aren’t the only two school to extend offers to Zachary. He also holds offers from Duke, App St., Cincinnati, Liberty, Charlotte, Georgia Tech, ECU and others.

NC State already has a historic Wide Receiver class, with three 4-star verbal commits already. The possible addition of Zachary would be the cherry on top.

There’s been a lot of NC State football recruiting info flying around, and the update below won’t cover it all, but it’s my attempt at catching up a bit.

NC State Men’s Basketball Recruiting Update (9/21/23)

Published

on

There’s been quite a bit going on in the world of NC State Men’s Basketball recruiting. Below I’ll summarize quite a bit of it.

4-Star Power Forward Kendre Harrison (6’7″/230) out of Reidsville High School (Reidsville, NC) took in the NC State vs. VMI game on Saturday, and walked away with an offer from the NC State Men’s Basketball coaching staff. Harrison already received an offer from the NC State Football coaching staff back in January.

ESPN ranks Harrison as the #20 overall basketball player nationally in the 2026 recruiting class, the #5 Power Forward and the #1 player in the state of North Carolina. Harrison already holds offers from Wake Forest, FSU and Texas A&M. Harrison is the #5 overall football player nationally in the 2026 class according to 247Sports, and the #1 player in the state of North Carolina. Harrison is a unicorn. He projects to be a 5-star prospect in 2 sports.

Did I mention that Harrison is the nephew of former NC State basketball player C.C. Harrison?

On September 12, NC State offered 4-Star 2025 Point Guard Jordan Lowery (6’1″/175) out of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He already holds offers from TCU, SMU, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, St. Louis, Wichita St, ECU and Virginia Tech. Rivals ranks Lowery as the #110 overall player nationally, and ON3 ranks him as the #9 player in the state of North Carolina. Lowery took an unofficial visit to NC State earlier in the month.

Last week, the coaches were in to visit 4-Star 2025 Small Forward AJ White (6’8″/180) out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Rivals ranks White as the #28 overall player nationally in 2025, and he is the consensus #1 player in the state. White holds offers from NC State, South Carolina, Cincy, Texas, Syracuse, Georgia, Texas A&M, Wake Forest, Mississippi St., LSU, FSU, Illinois, Virginia Tech, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgetown, Ohio St. and others.
