Zonnovan Knight Cut by Jets

Former NC State Running Back Zonnovan Knight was cut by the New York Jets yesterday, but I don’t think anyone expects him to not be claimed off waivers by another team.

To sum up the Twitter world response to the waiving of Bam:

  1. The Jets Running Back room was log jammed.
  2. Fans of other teams are chirping for their team to pick him up.

After going undrafted last year, Zonnovan Knight signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Jets. After injuries to Breece Hall and Michael Carter, Bam was called up from the Practice Squad. In 7 games during his rookie season, Knight rushed for 300 yards and a touchdown, and had 100 yard receiving.

I’m excited to see where Bam lands.
