Former NC State All-American Offensive Lineman Joe Thuney was named to his 2nd Pro Bowl today. Thuney has represented the Chiefs in the Pro Bowl the past two years in a row.
Mahomes has been sacked the second-fewest times of any qualified quarterback in the NFL this season due in large part to Thuney, who PFF currently ranks as the league’s top-rated pass-blocker among guards. This marks Thuney’s second-straight Pro Bowl nomination. (NFL)
Thuney’s PFF Grade of 75.2 is the 4th highest grade by a Guard in the AFC.
The former Wolfpack Lineman is 1 of 14 former NC State players to go to 2+ Pro Bowls.
