2025 Wide Receiver Jeremiah Koger (6’4″/190) attended NC State’s Junior Day this past Saturday.
Koger was offered by NC State on December 5th. He also holds offers from Pitt, Boston College, Virginia Tech, Syracuse and others. Koger plays for St. Frances in Maryland.
I caught up with Koger to get his take on the experience.
Can you describe what the format of the day was? What did you do?
To start off the day, Coach Joker took me and my family down to get some pictures in uniform. Following that, we went on up to get some lunch. Then we had a presentation from the coaching staff about the program. Following that, we had position coaches meetings, and a tour of the facilities.
What was your favorite part of the experience?
My favorite part of the experience probably was dressing in the uniform.
Were you able to have any conversations with the coaching staff? If so, how did that go? What’s their recruiting pitch to you?
I had a conversation/ with Coach Joker a little during meetings. It went well.
What’s your relationship like with Coach Joker?
I have a good relationship with Coach Joker. He’s a really good guy.
Where does NC State currently stand in your recruitment? What schools are currently ranking the highest for you?
Currently, NC State is high in my recruitment. This is the first school I have visited this off season, so that gives them a boost. I wouldn’t say that I have a “highest” ranked school right now.
_________
Koger will be visiting Liberty on February 3rd.
