NC State’s 2025 Football Recruiting Class Ranks 40th After Douglas Commitment

After the commitment of 3-Star Tight End Preston Douglas, NC State’s 2025 recruiting class now ranks 40th nationally according to ON3.

Rivals ranks the Wolfpack’s class 41st and 247Sports ranks it 42nd.

Here’s a look at NC State’s 18-man 2025 football recruiting class.

3-Star Tight End Preston Douglas Flips Commitment from South Carolina to NC State

3-Star 2025 Tight End Preston Douglas just flipped his commitment from South Carolina to NC State today.

Douglas originally verbally committed to the Gamecocks on June 12th after an Official Visit (June 7th).

The Wolfpack offered Douglas back on January 26th of this year. South Carolina offered him on March 28th.

Douglas also holds offers from Indiana, Wake Forest, Maryland, Syracuse and others. He plays for The Benjamin School in Jupiter, Florida.

ON3 and Rivals ranks Douglas as the #2 Tight End in the state of Florida.

Former Rutgers CB Commit Jakarrion Kenan Schedules Official Visit to NC State

Former Rutgers 3-Star Cornerback Verbal Commit Jakarrion Kenan (6’0″/180) confirmed with me that he will be taking an Official Visit to NC State on November 9th, when the Wolfpack will be hosting the Duke Blue Devils.

Kenan verbally committed to Rutgers back on June 16th after an Official Visit, but he decommitted on October 13th. He picked up an offer from NC State the next day. He has also since then picked up offers from Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.

Overall, Kenan holds offers from NC State, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, Vandy, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, ECU, Mississippi St., Indiana and others.

Kenan plays for Marlboro County in Bennettsville, South Carolina. ON3 ranks him as the #10 overall player in the state of South Carolina in the 2025 recruiting class.
