NC State will have quite a few noteworthy recruits at the game tomorrow, when the Wolfpack hosts the Thundering Herd at 2pm.

According to a source, here are some of the big names who will be in attendance.

2024 Rutgers Verbal Commit Ben Black (3-Stars) – Black (6’0″/180) verbally committed to Rutgers on June 11th. While Black is listed as a Wide Receiver, Athlete and Cornerback, NC State is recruiting him to play in the secondary. While he doesn’t hold an offer yet, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him pick one up in the near future. Mallard plays for Mallard Creek in Charlotte.

2025 Defensive Lineman Trajen Odom – Odom is a local kid, that plays right down the road at Panther Creek in Cary, North Carolina. Through 6 games, Odom has recorded 35 tackles 15 tackles for loss. NC State is high on Odom, though they haven’t offered yet. Odom already holds offers from UNC, Wake Forest, Cal, UNLV, Oregon St, Missouri and others .

3-Star 2025 Cornerback Zah Jackson (5’10″/180) – On October 4, NC State offered Jackson. He plays for Huntington, in Huntington, West Virginia. Jackson is the #1 player in the state of West Virginia in the 2025 recruiting class. Jackson already holds offers from Marshall, App St, West Virginia and others.

2025 Cornerback Cam Strong – Strong (6’1″/170) plays for TL Hanna in Anderson, South Carolina. He already holds offers from Duke, West Virginia and others. NC State is high on Strong. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Wolfpack offer him in the near future.
