2025 Defensive Tackle JaQuentin Madison (6’3″/275) took an unofficial visit to NC State a week ago. I caught up with Madison to get his take on the visit.

When did NC State start recruiting you and what coach is primarily recruiting you?

Coach Wiles hit me up back in October, and has just kept up with me from then.

What was your visit like? What did you learn? What did you enjoy?

My visit was great. Being able to see the campus and everything nc state had to offer was great!

If you got to watch practice, what were your thoughts on how the Wolfpack looked? Did any players standout?

Practice was great! Being able to see the level these guys play on was great! #1, the DT, stood out to me for sure.

What were the conversations like with the coaches?

Conversations with all the coaches were great! Real genuine staff!

Where does NC State stand in your recruitment? Which schools are recruiting you the hardest?

Apart from NC State,  Missouri and Arkansas been heavy recruiting me heavily.
