PI EXCLUSIVE: 3-Star OT Brady Sakowitz Breaks Down NC State Offer

Published

on

After taking an unofficial visit to NC State on Tuesday, the Wolfpack extended a scholarship offer to 3-Star 2026 Offensive Tackle Brady Sakowitz (6’7″/315) the next day. I caught up with Sakowitz to get his take on NC State’s offer.

What did it mean to you to pick up an offer from NC State?

It meant a lot to get that offer. It’s a good school that’s close to home!

How many times have you visited NC State before, or is this the 1st time? What other schools have you visited, or have plans to visit?

That was my first time visiting NC State. I have plans to visit Maryland, Duke, Miami, UVA, and West Virginia the next 5 weekends.

What’s your relationship been like with NC State since they started recruiting you? How have they prioritized you? What’s their message to you?

My relationship with Coach Tujague and the rest of the NC states coaches is great. They have made it clear that they want me there at NC State.

When do you hope to make a college decision by?

I hope to have made my college decision by the summer, between my Junior and Senior year!

Where does NC State currently stand in your recruitment? Who else stands out?

NC State is definitely up there with my top schools, alongside Virginia Tech, Duke, Miami, Maryland, and West Virginia!

_______

Sakowitz plays for Trinity Episcopal in Richmond, Virginia. ON3 ranks him as the #19 player in the state of Virginia in the 2026 recruiting class.

Sakowitz has also taken visits to Virginia Tech and UNC in the past week.

NC State is by no means the only team to have offered him. Sakowitz also holds offers from Maryland, Duke, Virginia Tech, Miami, West Virginia, Pitt, Marshall, App S. and others.
