NC State makes final list for Devonte Graham

We reported on the Graham situation a few days ago, but to catch you up, Devonte is a 2014 4 star PG who committed to App State, then really blew up and got national attention and was released from his LOI. He is now a free man and looking for a school.

The Wolfpack has felt as if they have been firmly in the mix here from the beginning and that was confirmed last night when Devonte tweeted his final list.

My Top 5 Schools Are: Kansas , Nc State, Virginia , Virginia Tech , Providence !

Right now you’d have to believe that Kansas is certainly State’s toughest competition. The Jayhawks are near the top of the rankings year in and year out and Graham has already scheduled a visit with them. State however, has their own draws. Devonte’s family lives in Raleigh and he attended Broughton High School before transferring to Brewster. State will also get a visit from the talented PG this Monday and Tuesday.

He will also be visiting Virginia on April 25th.

We will keep you updated on this situation, but we like where the Pack stands. Graham has a good relationship with this staff, would love to play close to home and has a better chance at playing time at NC State than he does at Kansas ( who has PG Naadir Tharpe back for another year, 4 star PG Conner Frankamp (Fr) waiting in the wings as well as PG Frank Mason (Fr) who also saw a lot of minutes late in the season for the Jayhawks.)
