TJ Warren Draft Stock Update

With the NBA season nearing an end the focus slowly shifts to the draft. For us, that means staying updated on where TJ Warren is headed. Here is the latest.

Update from MassLive:
T.J. Warren, a sophomore from North Carolina State, could still be available at the Celtics second selection (No. 17). An elite scorer who would be wise to develop his outside shot, the 6-foot-8, 230-pounder said he enjoyed an interview with the Boston brass.

“It went really well. Danny Ainge, Brad Stevens, I really liked those guys. I had a fun time meeting with them (for 30) minutes. It went really good,” Warren said. “Those are good guys. I enjoyed meeting with those guys. I understand I’m a high priority for them with scoring. I really, really enjoyed talking to those guys. I really like them a lot. … Brad Stevens is an unbelievable coach.”

From NESN:
Most To Lose: T.J. Warren, N.C. State. The Wolfpack sophomore has decent size for an NBA small forward at 6-foot-8, 215 pounds, and he knows how to score. He averaged 24.9 points per game, despite not always looking so fluid doing it. Yet with five-on-five scrimmaging a lost art at the combine, Warren won’t have a chance to show his nose for the hoop in live action.

This latest mock draft has TJ Warren going #13 to the Minnesota Timberwolves

And this one has him going #20 to the Raptors
