N&O: The ‘Our State’ Campaign is Dead

Well, that didn’t work out so well.

The ‘Our State’ campaign is dead according to the N&O. It was actually a pretty good marketing move and would have been a bigger hit had State dominated North Carolina this past season. Unfortunately they were slapped around by every North Carolina team in every major sport and then mocked by ECU in hilarious fashion.

So now it’s back to the drawing board for Debbie Yow and company. The good news is that the Wolfpack marketing team has been much improved since DY came onboard and they’ll certainly come up with something that gets the Pack fans all hyped up for game day. The next step is to get these teams to start beating their in-state rivals.
