Torin Dorn: C-USA FOY, Visiting State

Torin Dorn, last year’s C-USA freshman of the year, is a 6-5 guard who led UNC Charlotte in scoring this past season and has been granted his release from his scholarship following the firing of Alan Major. Dorn is receiving interest from NC State, Texas, and Miami. In recent days Dorn has confirmed he is indeed interested in joining the Pack as he will be visiting campus in the following days. If you check out his Twitter, you will find him retweeting fans who spoke about wanting to see him in the red and white.

Dorn is from Charlotte and will have 3 years of eligibility remaining starting in the 2016-2017 season. I am sure he is well aware of how well Gottfried has done at incorporating transfers into his lineups. The recent success of Ralston Turner, and Trevor Lacey will be great examples of the impact he could have in the coming years. We will have to wait and see if he will be running with the Pack.
