Yesterday the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame released the 2016 ballot for the induction, and NC State legend Torry Holt was one of the 76 FBS players nominated.  In order to be nominated.

To be eligible for the ballot, players must have been named a First Team All-American by a major/national selector as recognized and utilized by the NCAA for their consensus All-America teams; played their last year of intercollegiate football at least 10 years prior; played within the last 50 years and cannot be currently playing professional football. In 1998 Holt was a consensus All-American and was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Year.  He was also a two-time All-ACC selection.  Holt currently ranks 4th in ACC history in receiving yards (3,379), 3rd in receiving touchdowns (31), and still holds the conference record for receiving yards in a season (1,604).

The 2016 Hall of Fame class will be announced on Friday, January 8th.
