Athlon Picks NC State 4th in Atlantic
Athlon released their ACC projections this week, and they have NC State picked 4th in the Atlantic and 6th overall in the conference. They also ranked them 39th overall.
Athlon also revealed their Preseason All-ACC teams. Here are the Wolfpack players that made the cut.

Average Projected Coastal National Ranking: 41st
…BUT….
Atlantic: 1 team in top 10, 2 teams in top 25, 4 teams in top 40
Coastal: 0 teams in top 10, 1 team in top 25, 2 teams top 40
Basically, the ‘average’ is marginally higher for the Coastal, but over half of the division is between 35th-43rd. The definition of mediocre.
