Hamidou Diallo
Hamidou Diallo (6’4″/175) is rated as a 3-star shooting guard prospect by Scout, 4-stars by 247 and Rivals, and 5-stars by ESPN. NC State wasn’t the only school to offer Diallo yesterday. Louisville, St. Johns and Indiana also offered. Diallo has long been considered a UCONN lean because his teammate and friend Mamadou Diarra recently committed to the Huskies (via Zagsblog). Over the past two weeks, Diallo (Queens, NY) has visited UCONN and St. John’s. Diallo also holds offers from Iowa St., Minnesota, Providence, Temple and others.
Trevon Duval
Trevon Duval (6’3″/183) is a consensus 5-star prospect that is rated as the #10 player overall in the 2017 class according to Rivals. The point guard also picked up an offer from Oregon yesterday, and his offer sheet also includes Cal, UCONN, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, Pitt, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Syracuse, Villanova, and Virginia Tech. Duval (Newark, New Jersey) visited Villanova on June 10th.
