Gottfried Dishing Out Offers To Big Dogs: Brown, Richards and Jones

Zach Brown (2017, C)

Gottfried is already starting to zero in on his 2017 class and one of his prized pieces would be Miami, Fl 7-footer, Zach Brown. Brown is going to be a monster when he is a finished project and he still has two years to grow into his gigantic frame. He’s tall, long, shows good hands and decent instincts already. This is certainly a guy to keep an eye on for the Wolfpack. He is already a 5 star and will keep getting more and more attention around the nation. Here is a video from last year:

Nick Richards (2017, PF)

Richards is a 6’10 4-star from New Jersey who is starting to turn heads and has moved into the top 25 nationally. He’s currently got offers from Kansas and Pitt to go along with his two new ones. Richards is long and wrangly with decent touch and a good motor. Think of him as a righty Kyle Washington at this stage of his development.

Sacha Killeya Jones (2016, F)

Jones was a Virginia commit until he opened his recruitment back up recently. When that happened, the big dogs came running. UNC offered a few days ago and now NC State is in the mix with an offer. Jones is 6’10 but can really stretch the defense with his jumper. He’s got a nice stroke but also is athletic and can make you pay if you close out too hard. Here is the major problem…Jones is from  Chapel Hill, plays for Raymond Felton’s AAU team and is good friends with Raymond’s nephew who is on that team and heading to UNC himself. He looks UNC bound for now, but let’s see if that’s still the case when those sanctions come crashing down over the cheaters on the hill.
