I Think Maverick Rowan is Reclassifying
I think 4-star Small Forward Maverick Rowan is going to reclassify to the 2015 class. And it’s not just because of his tweet yesterday.

And it’s not simply because he didn’t show up to play at the NBA Top 100 camp this week. I mean an average detective would be connecting some possible dots at this point.
I think he’s reclassifying to the class of 2015 because my source tells me that the NC State coaching staff is working feverishly to get him enrolled for the Fall semester. Does that mean that NC State is the only school trying to do that? No. On June 1st, he gave a Top-6 of NC State, UCLA, St. John’s, UNC, Louisville and Wisconsin. All of those could be trying to do the same thing. But I do know this. I believe the NC State coaching staff is aggressively trying to make it happen for the Wolfpack.

What I was getting at was that if he is going to reclass, which we now know he is going to do, he is not coming to State bc he wants major PT right away… And rumor has it now that he has cut us from his list… No surprise, no big loss for us bc we are too loaded on the wing to keep him and the 19 other wing guys we have happy.
AnthonyScott1 dgomer0528 You understand that HE said he would only go somewhere he would play right away, right? I didn’t say that, he did. Don’t get me wrong, if he wants to come across the street and play at PNC, I’m all for it. The kid has bucketloads of talent and I’d love to see him play for State. But when you say that you won’t go to a school if you’re going to have to ride the pine for a year and learn the offense, that is absolutely a “sense of entitlement” thing. dgomer0528 Louisville has just as many wings and we only 8 scholarship players. they have 12. don’t take everything a kid says as a sense of entitlement thing… some place he JUST wouldn’t see the court as a freshman no matter what.

I can’t see him coming to State, and I can’t really say that bothers me. He’s a wing forward, which we have about 28 of right at the moment. He has said he will only go somewhere where he will play immediately; he wouldn’t at State, and I’m not a big fan of that kind of attitude.
247 has him at 93% to Louisville. Fine with me.
I don’t get it. Why would he want to come in 15? We have a shooter in Henderson. We haves wings out the wazoo. At least next year he would only have to wait behind Henderson 1 year. My understanding based on rumor is that if he reclassifies it’s to go to Louisville. They have been the team trying to get him to reclass bc they have more of a need this year.
