DISCLAIMER: This is not the same article as the one I wrote last night.

Not every player that gets drafted in the NBA Draft ends up playing in the NBA, and not every player that goes undrafted fails to play in the NBA. There hasn’t always been only two rounds in the draft. They originally drafted until all the prospects were gone, and then it went to 21 rounds…then 10…then 7…and now we are at 2. Below each ACC school is ranked according to how many of their players ended up making it as an NBA player. NC State has produced the 5th most NBA players in ACC history.

These numbers will obviously change after last nights draft, but until any of the players drafted suit up, these numbers won’t be updated.  Also, some ACC players that weren’t drafted could make NBA rosters.

  1. UNC – 81
  2. Notre Dame – 62
  3. Duke – 60
  4. Syracuse – 42
  5. NC State – 40
  6. Louisville – 39
  7. Georgia Tech – 37
  8. Florida St – 30
  9. Wake Forest – 28
  10. Boston College – 22
  11. Virginia – 18
  12. Pittsburgh – 15 (tie)
  13. Clemson – 15 (tie)
  14. Virginia Tech – 11
  15. Miami – 10
