Last night, on the 11pm SportsCenter, Russell Wilson sat down with ESPN’s Marty Smith for a “SportsCenter Conversation” to talk about the ever popular topic of his looming contract.

“If you’re prepared, then you’re never nervous. That’s just what I believe.”

“When it comes to Sunday, there’s no greater day for me. It’s a spiritual thing for me. An emotional thing for me. It’s an opportunity. I’m one of 32 men in the world that get to do what I get to do.”

“I don’t know. How much would you pay me Marty? It comes down to my play. I let my play speak for itself, and let the rest take care of itself. I’ll continue to love the game for what it is…continue to fight…no matter how much I’m getting paid. Whether it’s $25 million dollars or $1.5 million dollars…I’ll be ready to go.”

“I obviously want to stay in Seattle. I love Seattle.”
