Kentavius Street is an Athletic Freak

ABC’s Mark Armstrong called the strength coaches at NC State, UNC, Duke, East Carolina, and NCCU to find out who the biggest athletic freak was on their football team.  NC State Strength & Conditioning coach Jason Veltkamp dropped DT Kentavius Street’s name, and here’s why:

Street, who’s listed at 6’2″ and 290 lbs, predictably lifts big numbers: Clean 330, Squat 635, Bench 450. It’s the vertical leap though that jumps off-the-page. Kentavius somehow propels his 290 pound frame 39+ inches into the air.

I can’t even comprehend someone that weighs 290 pounds with a 39 inch vertical.  Note to self…do not attempt to draw a charge on Street in a game of pick-up basketball.
