The NC State wrestling team has picked up three verbal commitments this week for the 2016 class, and now all four Wolfpack commits are ranked in the Top-100 nationally.
Three days ago Thomas and Daniel Bullard committed to the Pack and Josh Lowe of InterMatWrestle had this to say.
FloWrestle ranks Thomas (160lbs) 45th and Daniel (170lbs) 50th, and 5th and 8th at their respective weight classes.
Then two days ago Kellen Devlin jumped in the mix and committed to the pack and Willie Saylor, the editor of FloWrestle, had this to say.
Delvin is ranked 16th currently in the 132lb weight class according to FloWrestle. InterMatWrestle ranks Delvin as the 92nd overall prospect.
All three of these prospects join Hayden Hidlay (145lbs) who committed to NC State back on December 8th. InterMatWrestle ranks HidLay as the #20 overall prospect and FloWrestle thinks that Hidlay might be the #1 prospect in the class.
When Willie Saylor was asked by AkulaWolf of BackingThePack how NC State’s 2016 class probably ranked nationally at this point…he said this.
It looks like NC State head coach Pat Popolizo is putting together a historic recruiting class this year. All of this comes on the heels of the Wolfpack finishing 17th in the NCAA’s and Nick Gwiazdowski winning back-to-back National Championships.
