7/15 Wolfpack Summer League Update

Yesterday was Day 6 of the NBA Las Vegas Summer League, and 4 different former NC State players were in action.  All 4 of the teams that these players play for lost yesterday, which means that they will play in one more game in a consolation round on Friday, July 17th.

Lorenzo Brown didn’t shoot exceptionally well from the field in the T-Wolves 77-82 loss to the Trailblazers, but he shot really well from the free throw line.  Brown finished with 16 points on 4 of 12 shooting from the field, but sunk 8 of his 9 free throw attempts.  He also added 5 rebounds and 4 assists.  Zo played 33 minutes and started for the 2nd time.

Summer League Stats Through 4 Games: 25.5 minutes/13 points/51.5 FG%/37.5 3PT%/3.5 assists/3.5 rebounds/1.2 steals

C.J. Williams actually started his second straight game in the NBA Summer League, after not even seeing a minute in the first game.  His performance in the T-Wolves 77-82 loss to the Trailblazers was by far his best performance so far, scoring 10 points (4-10 FG) in 31 minutes of play, and sunk 2 of his 3 three-point attempts.

Summer League Stats Through 3 Games: 17.3 minutes/4.7 points/35.5 FG%/50 3PT%

Trevor Lacey rebounded from his last performance and played solid in 18 minutes of play.  He scored 8 points (3-6 FG/1-2 3 PT) and picked up 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal.

Summer League Stats Through 4 Games: 16.5 minutes/5.8 points/36.4 FG%/2.2 rebounds

C.J. Leslie scored 2 points (1-2 FG) and grabbed 2 rebounds in 8 minutes of play in the Kings 69-83 loss to the Kings.
