Trevor Lacey Close To Signing With Italy Team

According to a report from Eurobasket and Sportando, former NC State Shooting Guard Trevor Lacey is close to signing a deal with VL Pesaro, which is a professional team in Italy.  VL Pesaro competes in the top level of professional basketball in Italy, Lega Basket Serie A.

Lacey hasn’t played well enough in the NBA Summer League to land on an NBA roster.  He has averaged 5.8 points and 0.8 assists through 4 games, shooting 36.4% from the field

Trevor knew that he would likely begin his professional basketball career overseas.  He just wanted to go ahead and begin his career as a professional, and if these advance talks result in a signed contract, Trevor Lacey will officially be a professional basketball player.
