Cullen Jones Wins Bronze at Pan Am

Former NC State swimmer Cullen Jones earned a bronze medal at the 2015 Pan Am Games two days ago for his performance in the 4×100 Men’s Freestyle Relay.  Jones was named one of the captains of this years team, and also finished 11th in the 100m Men’s Freestyle.  While at NC State, he was the national champion in the 50m Freestyle, which he will be competing in tomorrow.  His final event will be the 4×100 Medley Relay on Saturday.

Jones is a 4-time Olympic Medalist.

2012 London Olympic Games: gold in 4 x 100 m medley relay, silver in 50 m freestyle and 4 x 100 m freestyle relay
2008 Beijing Olympic: Gold in 4 x 100 m freestyle relay.  Jones became the 1st African American swimmer to ever win a gold medal.
