7/17 Wolfpack Summer League Update

Yesterday was Day 8 of the NBA Las Vegas Summer League, and four former NC State basketball players were in action, playing their final consolation game.

Two former NC State players started for the Timberwolves in their 73-78 loss to the Cavs.

Lorenzo Brown finished the Summer League strong with a 19 point(8-15 FG) performance. He also gathered 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals. I think Zo’s five game stretch in the Summer League are enough to solidify his spot on an NBA roster, even if the Timberwolves don’t pick up his contract for this year.
