T-Wolves Want Lorenzo Brown at Camp

It’s still not a guarantee where former NC State guard Lorenzo Brown will be playing next season, but the Minnesota Timberwolves are sure that they aren’t done with him yet.

On February 9th of this year, the T-Wolves signed Brown to a 2-year contract that would give him guarantee pay for the remainder of the season ($268,959), and a non-guaranteed contract for the 2015-16 season ($947,276).

According to HoopsRumors Brown’s contract had become partially guaranteed on July 1st.

Brown’s two-year veteran’s minimum salary of $947,276 had become partially guaranteed for $25K on July 1st, and the contract called for the partial guarantee to go up to $200K if he remained on the roster through Saturday, with a further rise to $375K on October 1st, a source tells Hoops Rumors. Those dates have shifted, according to Wolfson. It’s unclear exactly what the new terms look like, but it nonetheless appears as though Brown is still in Minnesota’s plans. (HoopsRumors)

Considering that Minnesota just signed veteran PG Andre Miller to a contract, it would seem like there isn’t much room for Zo, but it seems like they want to still give him a chance to prove himself.  Zo averaged 14.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas in July.
