There are things in life that are bigger than football.

Jack Tocho and Jalan McClendon’s Christian faith trumps what happens in helmets and pads.

Tocho is a junior cornerback and is entering his third year as a starter for the Wolfpack.  Last season he led the team in pass breakups and earned the team’s Dewayne Washington Award for Defensive Back of the Year.

McClendon is entering his redshirt freshman season at quarterback.  He was a 4-star prospect out of West Mecklenburg High School (Charlotte, NC), and the 248th overall player in the 2014 recruiting class according to Scout.com.

Tocho and McClendon attend the Raleigh campus of The Point Church.  They will be sharing their stories of faith and football on August 23rd at the church’s 10am service at Mission Valley Theater.

One Sunday every Fall The Point Church invites NC State college football players to share their stories of faith and football.  In the past former Wolfpack players Sterling Lucas and Robert Crisp have spoken at this event.

The Point Church would like to invite the community to hear Jack Tocho and Jalan McClendon share their stories on August 23rd.
