NC State Receives Votes in AP Preseason Poll

The preseason AP poll was released today and the ACC has three teams ranked in the Top 25.

Florida St. – 10th
Clemson – 12th
Georgia Tech – 16th

3 ACC schools received votes, but failed to make the Top 25, and NC State was one of them.

Virginia Tech – 42 (29th)
Louisville – 12 (32nd)
NC State – 4 (36th)

According to ESPN’s Brett McMurphy, over the past 5 years, 8 schools on average finish the season in the Top-25 that started the season unranked.
