Last night the NC State’s Men’s Soccer team improved to 2-0 on the season, defeating College of Charleston 2-0 at home.

Justin Duchscherer, a freshman out of Germany, scored his first collegiate goal.  Through two games, he is the Wolfpack points leader, with 1 goal and 1 assist.  He leads the team in shots (8) and shots on goal (8).

Junior Yanni Hachem connected on a penalty kick in the second half to put the game away.

Senior Goalie Alex McCauley picked up the 7th clean sheet of his career.  His defensive teammates served him well, because he only needed 1 save to complete the shutout.  McCauley has only given up one goal in two games thus far, and has 8 saves, with an 89% save percentage.

The Wolfpack will hit the road this Friday, playing at Liberty University at 7pm.
