Mark Gottfried Watches Rawle Alkins Workout
On September 11th, Rawle Alkins arrived in Raleigh and worked out with his new Word of God teammates for the very first time. NC State sent assistant coach Rob Moxley over to Word of God Academy to watch him workout on his very first day to welcome Alkins to Raleigh, and let him know that they are going to make it a priority to try to keep him in Raleigh.
After Alkins went on an unofficial visit to UNC on Sunday, NC State sent Moxley and head coach Mark Gottfried to watch Alkins workout yesterday.

Dennis Smith Jr. chimed in, letting Alkins know that he thought everyone would like to see that trio in the Red-and-White.

Alkins knew how to pull the heart strings of Wolfpack nation with his tweet, teasing about the possibility of teaming up with Dennis Smith Jr. (committed) and Bam Adebayo (uncommitted) at NC State. One thing is certain, NC State has turned up the heat on recruiting Alkins since his plane landed. They are on a mission to keep Rawle (pronounced “Raleigh”) in Raleigh next year.
