NC State revealed who their captains will be for the Old Dominion last night.  They are comprised of 1 RS Senior, a RS Junior, and 2 Sophomores.

Game 1 Captains: Jacoby Brissett, Mike Rose, Hakim Jones, and Quinton Schooley
Game 2 Captains: Jacoby Brissett, Mike Rose, Benson Browne, and Joe Thuney

Game 3 Captains

Jacoby Brissett (RS Senior)

This is Brissett’s third time as a captain for the Wolfpack this season in three games.  For a little taste of what Brissett has done thus far through 2 games, read this.

M.J. Salahuddin (RS Junior)

Salahuddin entered last year projected to be NC State’s best linebacker, but ended up missing the entire 2014 season due to an ACL injury.  He is serving as the backup to Jerod Fernandez at Middle Linebacker.  He has seen action in both games thus far, recording three tackles in 14 total snaps.

B.J. Hill (Sophomore)

Hill is currently tied for the team lead in tackles (7) and has twice as many tackles for loss (3) as any other Wolfpack defender.  B.J. is starting at Defensive Tackle this season, and started 5 games there as a true freshman last year.

Cole Cook (Sophomore)

Cook has quietly played more snaps (85) than any other Wolfpack Tight End through 2 games.  He hasn’t caught the 2 touchdowns that Benson Browne has the past two weeks, and has actually never caught a pass in 15 career games, but he has earned the trust of his coaches.  NC State uses a lot of Tight Ends, starting David Grinnage and Cole Cook against Eastern Kentucky.
