NC State To See Wendell Moore Today

The NC State basketball coaches will be in Charlotte today to see 2019 Top-10 prospect Wendell Moore.

The Future150 ranks Moore as the #6 overall player in the 2019 recruiting class.  The Shooting Guard out of Cox Mill High School (Concord, NC) is planning on unofficially visiting NC State on October 3rd for the Tailgate Tipoff and the football game against Louisville.  He also has unofficial visits scheduled for Kentucky (10/9) and Tennessee (10/10), and Wake Forest(1/6) in the near future.  Moore currently holds offers from UNC Charlotte and Tennessee, but he is receiving attention from the top basketball programs in the country.

USAToday wrote an article back in January posing the question: “Is Wendell Moore the best 13-year old hooper since Andrew Wiggins?”  Coach Gottfried won’t be the only ACC coach trying to keep his talent in state.
