NC State Has Young Talent Coming Tomorrow

Earlier this week we shared a breakdown of the BIG NAME basketball recruits that were going to be in attendance at tomorrow’s Tailgate Tipoff.  Here is a breakdown of those big names:

5-star 2016 PG Dennis Smith Jr.
5-star 2016 SG Rawle Alkins
5-star 2016 PF Bam Adebayo
5-star 2016 C Udoka Azubuike
5-star 2017 G Devontae Shuler
5-star 2017 PG Matt Coleman
4-star 2017 Derek Culver

While that list is daunting, one of the things that impresses me the most is the intentional effort NC State has put in getting some of the top young talent in the country there.  We reported earlier in the week that SG Wendell Moore and PF Joey Baker of the 2019 class would be in attendance.  Moore is rated as the #6 player in the 2019 class according to Future150.

I have also confirmed that a couple of other 2019 standouts will be in attendance.  Brothers PG Keyshaun & SG Kobe Langley out of Southwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC) will be in attendance tomorrow.  Keyshaun is ranked #39 overall and Kobe is ranked 30th.  PF BJ Mack is ranked 29th, and he will also be in attendance.  NC State was down to visit him in Charlotte last week.
