Here is our VIDEO of NC State Guard Terry Henderson talking with the media today at Media Day. Quotes below.

“There are things that I do well that are probably better than Ralston (Turner), and there are things that Ralston did better than me.  I’m just coming in playing my game and doing what Coach says.  That’s my job right there.”

On a big defensive performance…

“It was one of my first games back from injury.  It was kind of like a shin splint, but it was severe enough for me to sit out.  My first game back we played Kansas at West Virginia.  We were playing a matchup zone.  I was on the point of the zone.  That’s when Andrew Wiggins was there.  My main goal going into that game was to try to lock Andrew Wiggins up.  Now at the end of the day he did have 40 points.  He did have 40 points, but he also took an L home, and we rushed the court, and we beat them.  When I was guarding him, I don’t recall him scoring.  I picked up a foul on him.  I thought I stole the ball, the ref called a cheap one, and I got kind of mad.  I didn’t really play that much that game because it was my first game back.”

On being hungry after sitting out a year…

“A lot.  It was game changing for me.  I’m looking forward to it.  Everyday when I pick up a basketball, I dream about playing in the PNC, and going on the road to those venues…just going out there and playing with my brothers.  That’s big for me.  Now it’s just ready to explode right now.”
