4-star 2017 Defensive End Elijah Conliffe (Hampton, VA) took an official visit to NC State on September 12th when the Wolfpack played Eastern Kentucky.  I caught up with him recently to get his take on the visit.

“The coaches told me how glad they were to have me, and they talked to me about the game that was about to go down.  I’ve been there many times now.  The Athletic Director, I’ve been talking to her, and listening to what she has been saying during the season,” said Conliffe. “I got to talk to Coach Nielsen.  I love his passion.  It was a lot of fun.  It was a great experience.  It was actually the first college game I’ve attended.”

Conliffe hasn’t trimmed his list, but there are a couple of schools that he is focused on right now, and NC State is one of them.

“They’re pretty much up there.  I like the school and how it runs,” said Conliffe. “It’s all about family there and they really care about their players.  They want to see you grow on the field and off the field as well.”

When asked which schools stand out to him at this point, he listed 4 schools specifically.  Back on August 31st, Conliffe said that NC State was recruiting him the hardest.

“I like Tennessee, Baylor, NC State, and Georgia right now.” said Conliffe.
