NC State NBA Preseason: Week 1 Report

The NBA preseason started last Friday, and this is a report on how the three former NC State players have done in the first week.

J.J. Hickson

Last Friday the Nuggets faced the Clippers to kickoff the NBA preseason schedule.  Hickson started for Denver at Power Forward.  He played 19 minutes and scored 2 points (1-7 FG) and grabbed 6 rebounds in the Nuggets 103-96 loss.  On Tuesday, Hickson came off the bench in Denver’s 96-86 win over Dallas, playing only 6 minutes.  He had 3 points (0-3 FG/3-4 FT) and 3 rebounds.  Hickson didn’t play in Denver’s 112-94 victory over Chicago last night.

T.J. Warren 

Warren came off the bench in the Suns 102-98 victory over the Kings Wednesday night, but ended up playing 28 minutes, which led the team.  T.J. also led the Suns in scoring, with 17 points, connecting on 8 of his 14 shots.  He also had 4 rebounds.

Lorenzo Brown

Brown came off the bench in the Timberwolves 122-99 loss to the Thunder on Wednesday night, and scored 7 points (3-4 FG/1-2 FT) in 15 minutes.
