Lorenzo Brown Solid Against Raptors

Published

on

Lorenzo Brown and the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Toronto Raptors 112-105 last night in the NBA preseason, and the former NC State point guard continued his solid play.  Brown started for the second straight game, and had 6 points (3-6), 5 assists and 2 steals.  The Timberwolves played especially well when Brown was in the game, outscoring the Raptors by 3 points during his 16 minutes.  The +/- for the other Timberwolves point guards: Zach Levine -8 and Tyus Jones -6.  Brown is playing for the final spot on the Timberwolves roster.  If they can’t see that he is worth the spot, the rest of the NBA continues to get a preview of the player they could have.
