NC State NFL Report: Week 7

Here is a look at how the former NC State football players did in the NFL in Week 7.

Quarterback

Philip Rivers was 38 of 58 for 336 yards and 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in the Chargers 37-29 loss to the Raiders.  Rivers posted a QB Rating of 83.7, which is his second lowest rating of the season.  With that being said, he is currently on pace to break the NFL record for completions and passing yards.

Season Stats: 2,452 yards, 69.1%, 15 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, 99.2 QB Rating

Russell Wilson was 18 of 24 for 235 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks 20-3 win over the 49ers on Thursday night.  He only threw 6 incomplete passes, but two of them were interceptions.  Wilson’s job hasn’t been an easy one thus far, being sacked more than any other quarterback in the NFL.

Season Stats: 1,668 yards, 69.6%, 8 touchdowns, 5 interceptions, 97.0 QB Rating, 271 rushing yards, 5.2 yards per carry.

Mike Glennon didn’t play in the Bucs 31-30 loss to the Redskins.

Defensive Back

David Amerson had 6 tackles and 1 pass defelection in the Raiders 37-29 win over the Chargers.

Season Stats: 23 tackles, 4 pass deflections, and 1 forced fumble

Dontae Johnson played as a reserve in the 49ers 20-3 loss to the Seahawks, but failed to record any stats.

Season Stats: 8 tackles and 2 pass deflections

Offensive Line

J.R. Sweezy started in the Seahawks 20-3 win over the 49ers.  He has started in all 7 games this season.

Ted Larsen didn’t play in the Cardinals 26-18 victory over the Ravens on Monday.

Kicker

Steven Hauschka connected on both of his field goal attempts (46 and 49) and both of his PAT’s.

Season Stats: 16/16 FG, 14/14 PAT, 62 points

Defensive Line

Mario Williams had 3 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 1 sack in the Bills 34-31 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.

Season Stats: 13 tackles and 3 sacks

T.Y. McGill had 2 tackles in the Colts 27-21 loss to the Saints.  These were McGill’s first tackles of his NFL career.

Season Stats: 2 tackles

Markus Kuhn had 1 tackle, and 0.5 sacks in the Giants 27-20 victory over the Cowboys.

Season Stats: 7 tackles and 0.5 sacks

Linebacker

Stephen Tulloch had 8 tackles and 3 tackles for loss in the Lions 28-19 loss to the Vikings.

Season Stats: 56 tackles

Nate Irving had 2 tackles in the Colts 27-21 victory over the Saints.

Season Stats: 8 tackles

Manny Lawson had one tackle in the Bills 34-31 loss to the Jags on Sunday.

Season Stats: 16 tackles

Audie Cole played as a reserve in the Vikings 28-19 victory over the Liions, but failed to record any stats.

Season Stats: 1 tackle

Wide Receiver

Jerricho Cotchery had 1 reception for 13 yards in the Panthers 27-13 victory over the Eagles.

Season Stats: 8 receptions, 90 yards, 1 touchdown
