Mike Rose Piling Up the Sacks

Senior defensive end Mike Rose had a big time effect on the Demon Deacons last week, recording 3 sacks on the day, all on 3rd down. For the season Rose is the leader in the ACC with 5.5 sacks, which is also good enough for 11th in the NCAA. The Bednarick Award candidate has tallied a tackle for a loss in 14 straight games. In that span Rose has 20 tackles for a loss of 105 yards.

Rose will have his work cut out for him as he looks to bring down the elusive DeShaun Watson this weekend. For his career Rose has 28.5 tackles for a loss (17th in NCSU history) and 12.5 sacks (19th in NCSU history). NC State fans hope that he adds to those totals this weekend, as the Wolfpack look to ruin Clemson’s undefeated season.
