T.J. Warren and the Phoenix Suns didn’t get the start to the 2015-16 season that they wanted last night, losing 111-95 to the Dallas Mavericks.  Warren came off of the bench and scored 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.  It wasn’t Warren’s best shooting performance, connecting on only 4 of his 13 shots.  Even though he didn’t get the start, he played 20 minutes compared to starting small forward P.J. Tucker’s 9 minutes.  Warren’s 20 minutes were the 4th highest total on the Suns.

Warren and the Suns will try to pick up their first win of the season tomorrow night against the Portland Trailblazers at home.

He was playing timid. He took the most shots on the team but a lot of bad shots. He needs to drive it hard to the basket instead of settling for those long jump shots.
