NC State Football will debut their 6th jersey combination this season as Adidas has collaborated with the Pack to create a uniform that pays homage to those who serve our country. The iron gray jersey’s get their name from NC State’s motto this year, “iron sharpens iron.”

“Military Appreciation Day has become a very special event for our team,” said head coach Dave Doeren, “We wanted to wear our next alternate uniform to honor those who serve and I think the color and design of the IRONWOLF uniform accomplishes that.”

The #IRONWOLF helmet will feature a gray and black camouflage pattern with the classic NC State logo. Red Wolf claw marks are found throughout the jersey located on the shoulder pads, pants, and gloves.

Coach Doeren summed it up with the following statement, ” when two iron blades are rubbed together each blade gets sharper and more efficient. The same is true in the military and football. We rely on each other to make each other better.”

Be sure to make it out to the game this Saturday as the Pack look to beat Syracuse and gain some needed momentum to close out the season.
